Clinic & Science
Those wishing to learn about endoscopic spine surgery have a number of options. Initial information is available on this website and in RIWOspine literature and scientific articles. Videos on this website can provide an excellent introduction to possibilities of full-endoscopic spine surgery techniques.
International symposia provide the opportunity, through didactic sessions and live surgery observation, to learn more about endoscopic spine surgery and its possibilities. Opportunities also exist to attend an international clinical observation session, to view the full-endoscopic spine techniques and discuss the techniques with expert practitioners.

Surgical Skill Training
Training courses are tailored to the backgrounds and experience levels of the participants. In beginner courses, the most basic and safest techniques are taught to help ensure successful outcomes for appropriate indications. As the physician’s ability progresses, courses teaching more advanced techniques are provided to expand the number of potential indications while still advancing successful outcomes.
Courses include didactic and discussion by recognized leaders in spine endoscopy, and cover anatomy, indications, anesthesia, techniques, and clinical pearls. The majority of the course is devoted to demonstrations and hands-on cadaver training for all steps of the techniques.
Courses are held regularly during the year at Prima Vista Academy in the Chicago area, and periodically at other locations throughout the country. A range of courses are also provided internationally. Contact your RIWOspine rep for more information.
